Investment Rs 100 m:
CIC Agri to add agro tourism to Pelwehera
CIC Agri Business will invest Rs.100 million to add agro tourism to
their portfolio in Pelwehera in Dambulla. The property would be ready by
the end of the year.
CIC Pelwehera Farm Manager, Suresh Dematawa said that under the first
stage 20 cabanas would be built and 20 more added under the second
stage. A natural swimming pool too would be built under the first stage.
In a bid to attract the corporate sector a conference hall too would be
built.
“We hope to attract locals, foreigners as well as students and
teachers who are keen on agriculture,” he said. CIC already has a
similar concept going on at their farm in Hingurakgoda.
