Heroin suspect abducted in Hulftsdorp

A suspect while coming out from the Colombo High Court in Hulftsdorp after he was granted bail in a heroin case was abducted by a gang of six persons with weapons. The gang dragged the suspect into a van and escaped.

The suspect who was handcuffed at the time he was abducted was being taken to the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court premises after granting bail by the Colombo High Court.

The wife and close relatives of the suspect had made a complaint to the Keselwatta Police that are conducting investigations.
