John Keells appointed as SAP Services Partner
John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH), the largest listed company on the
Colombo Stock Exchange (CS:JKH)with a AAA (lka) credit rating from
Flitch Rating Lanka Ltd announced that they have been appointed as SAP
Services Partner in Sri Lanka.
This is a significant milestone in the relationship between JKH and
SAP and through this extended relationship, having worked together since
2003 to enable John Keells group to realize enhanced business benefits
with its investments in SAP solutions, they plan to deliver enhanced
value to the market with domain expertise, platform experience and
significant local presence.
JKH’s IT arm, SGIT, has been implementing and supporting SAP across
the industries and companies of the group since 2004 and started
offering these services external to the group since 2008.
JKH together with SAP plans to setup a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in
Colombo to showcase and demonstrate the value innovation that could be
delivered through SAP solutions. The center will also create value added
customer immersions and proof of concepts to provide customers insights
to demonstrate the value and efficiencies that could be delivered
through enterprise applications platforms and related infrastructures.
