Iceman Technologies bags Refrigeration Contractor of the year 2011 award

At the recently held Annual Awards Night of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Engineers Inc. (ASHRAE) Sri Lankan Chapter 171 (www.ashraesl.org), Iceman Technologies Private Ltd received the "Refrigeration Contractor of the Year 2011" award.

Ashare which was incorporated in New York in 1895 has chapters worldwide and is the premier society for air conditioning and refrigeration engineers.

Iceman Technologies General Manager Vajira Senaratne, said this award is in recognition of the dedicated work of his well trained and motivated staff and mentioned some of the large turnkey projects they have undertaken and successfully completed. Among them one of the largest temperature control warehouse complexes in Sri Lanka, Wickramaratne Sisilco (Pvt) Ltd at Peliyagoda, Sri Lanka's largest fishery harbour off load jetty cold room complex at Dikkowita, Colombo, Fonterra Brands Lanka, liquid milk plant cold room Unilever Sri Lanka Horana cold room complex and natures Beauty Creations Phase I and II clean room complex at Padukka for cosmetic production.

At the same annual awards night Sujith Seneviratne who is the Service and Operations Manager of Iceman Technologies was selected the "Best Refrigeration Engineer of 2011". His forte was designing and commissioning of low power consumption refrigeration systems, thereby Iceman Technologies became the undisputed leader in the industry in Sri Lanka.
