Trinity-Bens game not played

The inter-school cricket match between Trinity College and St Benedict's College, Kotahena, which was scheduled to be played yesterday and today at the Asgiriya stadium, Kandy, was not played in view of the Poya Full Moon day which fell yesterday.

It is unlikely that this match will be played as both schools are having matches in the weekend before the Big Match unless they decide to play on a week day. Trinity College have so far scored eight outright wins against the ten wins scored last year. They have four more matches against Zahira College, St Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia, Royal College and St Anthony's College if they are to better this record.
