Grenades found in Keselwatte

Police seized nine hand grenades left on two streets in the Keselwatte area yesterday morning.

Seven hand grenades were recovered at Gunasena Mawatha and another two were recovered at Tractor Mawatha, the Police said. The Police said that these explosives were found on a tip-off from passers by in the morning. No suspects have been arrested.
