The Deyata Kirula National Development Exhibition at Oyamaduwa has been extended by another two days up to February 12,by popular demand, the President’s Media Division states in a release.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa directed the Deyata Kirula organizers to extend the duration of the exhibition by another two days as there have been numerous requests from schoolchildren in particular to hold the exhibition for two more days. The exhibition depicting the development process envisaged under the Mahinda Chintana development programme, was due to conclude on February 10. On the President’s directives, the exhibition will be extended by two days, Deyata Kirula organizers said.

Yesterday was the third day of the exhibition and it is reported that over1.1 million people have so far visited the exhibition. The exhibition is open to the public from 8 am to 12 midnight.
