Nalanda get 80/4

Nalanda College, Colombo were 80/4 in the inter-school match played against Royal College, Colombo which started at Reid Avenue when it got interrupted by rain yesterday.

Nalanda College won the toss and chose to bat.

Right hand batsman Koshan Dhanushka contributed 24 runs inclusive of one six and three boundaries, Ishara Rangana scored 25 (not out) including five boundaries while Lahiru Jayakody secured 21 including four boundaries.

Right hand medium fast bowler Chamika Karunaratne captured two wickets for 30 runs.

The match will resume today at 9.30.
