More Indian fishermen rescued
Sri Lanka Navy personnel rescued four Indian
fishermen with their fishing vessel in the North Thalaimannar seas
on January 5 and handed them over to the Thalaimannar Police,Sri
Lanka Navy Media Spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasooriya told

Female extortionists nabbed
Three women suspects who had led an extortion
ring and obtained a ransom of Rs 100,000 in two installments from a
businessman in Walgama on behalf of an underworld character serving
a sentence at the Matara Prison were arrested by officers of the
