Kegalu Vidyalaya scored a 157 run win over Sri Sumangala College,
Kandy in their inter-school cricket match concluded at the Kegalle
esplanade yesterday.
Sri Sumangalians were set a victory target of 260 but they could
score only 103.
Highlight of the match was the batting of Jehan Chathuranga for
Kegalu Vidyalaya scoring twin fifties. In the first innings he scored 55
with 7 fours and followed it up with 81 not out with 7 fours and 2 sixes
off 57 balls in the second.
