Appreciations
Nanda Ellawala :
Unforgettable personality
There could be two passions which have a powerful influence in a man.
Ambition and Avarice. The love of power and the love of money. None
prompted him to action. his passion was to be with people and engage in
politics. He never sought in ceremony pomposity or perks of power. Never
unwilling or too self centered to meet problems midst his political
crusades he enjoyed a certain peace finding his groove.
Had enough mirth to spill over
enough strength to endure right
and wrong
daring enough to be just
proud enough to be honest
Drenched with rustic refinement the simplicity of his life reminds
the excess of many images. In mottled hues like treasures lost in deep
recessors sense and catch rifts of its perfume in the breeze.
In this single masterpiece soaked in insane colour is a space like a
tiny wash of white neon in the hearts of the people he loved.

Although you had been a catholic you admired other religions
You always saw the shortcomings of atheism
Although you were a wealthy person
You accept poor masses at every moment
