The seventh track and field meet

The seventh track and field meet organized by the Central Province Sports Ministry concluded at the Bogambara Stadium recently. Men and women competitors of all the ministries and departments in the province participated and it was held for two days.

The events were held on age categories ie 20-30 yrs, 30-40 yrs, 40-50 yrs and 50-60 yrs. Engineering Services Department won the team championship collecting 51 points while the Departments of Health were the runners-up collecting 34 points. Third place was won by the Department of education with 27 points.
