AAI Annual Report awarded in Bangladesh

Asian Alliance Insurance PLC (AAI) was recognized with a Merit Award
in the Insurance Sector for the Annual Report for year 2010 published
under the theme "Transparent" at the "Best Published Accounts (BPA)
Awards 2010" organized by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).
The award ceremony was held recently at the Bangabandhu International
Conference Centre, Dhaka, Bangladesh with the participation of Commerce
Minister of Bangladesh Muhammad Faruk Khan, MP.
SAFA Best Published Accounts Award Ceremony is an annual event staged
in one of the SAFA member countries each year. SAFA BPA Award represents
SAFA's recognition and reward for organizations which have achieved
excellence in presentation and disclosure of high quality, relevant,
reliable and objectively comparable financial statements particularly
within the IAS/IFRS framework and other useful information contained in
the annual reports. |
