South Asia youth camp

'South Asia Peace Youth Camp' will be held at Don Bosco Technical College, Negombo from December 19-23, followed by Social tourism programme for overseas participants from December 24-27. Over 300 overseas visitors are attending this event jointly organized by Sri Lanka-United Nations Friendship Organization, Gandhi Peace Foundation and supported by Lanka Youth Organization Network, SANASA Development Bank and many youth organizations.

Prime Minister D.M. Jayarathne will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony today. High Commissioners of Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Maldives have been invited as guests of honour.

Youth and Skills Development Minister Dullas Alahapperuma, Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkody, Deputy Minister Duminda Dissanayake, Members of Parliament Wijayadasa Rajapaksha, Namal Rajapaksa and Buddhika Pathirana will be present.
