Russia to boost tea market

Entry into WTO to have favourable impact:

Russia’s entry into the World Trade Organization will have a favourable impact on the Sri Lankan tea industry by creating a much satisfied level playing field, Plantations Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe said.

Eco Friendly Power launches two mini hydro plants

In another US $ 3.6 m investment:

Eco Friendly Power Developers, a subsidiary of Acess Group will invest another US $ 3.6 million in two mini hydropower plant projects at Kadurugasgoda in Ratnapura and Uvathenna in the Balangoda area.
