A refilling tyre factory at Horana - Aramanagolla Industrial Zone
caught fire Sunday evening.

The Fire Brigade trying to control the fire |
Machines, equipment and tyres inside the factory were destroyed in
the fire. No deaths or injuries were reported. Horana Urban Council Fire
Brigade's attempts to extinguish the fire with the help of Horana Police
failed.
The fire continued for over an hour. Investigations are on to find
the cause of the fire.
