WCIC partners UAE women entrepreneurs

Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, UAE Foreign Trade Minister Lubna Bint Khalid Al-Qasimi, Vidyani Hettigoda, Rifa Musthapha and Nafeesa Taherally.

The President of the Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce Vidyani Hettigoda together with Board legal representative Rifa Musthapha had discussions with Lubna Bint Khalid Al- Qasimi to collaborate with women in business between Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates during her recent visit to Sri Lanka.

Khalid Al- Qasimi, being the seventh most powerful woman in the world extended an invitation to the Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce to foster greater relations between woman entrepreneurs in both countries. The said dialog was facilitated by the Sri Lankan Ambassador in the UAE Sarath Wijesinghe.
