‘Key Opposition changes could affect budget debate’

Chief Government Whip Dinesh Gunawardena told Parliament yesterday that in case there is a change in the post of the Opposition Leader, then the budget debate too will have to be changed. Rising to a point of order, he said it was his belief that both Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and Chief Opposition Whip John Amaratunga would continue in their present positions.
