Entrance roads to A’pura sacred city

Along with the Deyata Kirula National Development Programme, three major entrance roads to the sacred city of Anuradhapura are to be renovated by the Road Development Authority, sources said.

These three entrances are Kurunegala–Padeniya, Puttalam-Anuradhapura and Kekirawa-Anuradhapura roads.

The Authority has drawn up a plan to complete all reconstruction work before Independence Day which falls on February 4.
