Sri Lanka to replace injured Pradeep
Sri Lanka’s fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep has been
ruled out of the ongoing tour of South Africa after tearing his
right hamstring, Sri Lanka Cricket said on Monday. Pradeep, 25,
suffered the injury while bowling during the warm-up game against
the South Africa Invitation XI in Benoni on Saturday.

Rehman bowls Pakistan to innings win
Abdur Rehman grabbed four wickets as Pakistan
thrashed Bangladesh by an innings and 184 runs on the penultimate
day of the opening Test in Chittagong on Monday. The left-arm
spinner finished with 4-88 as Bangladesh, trailing by 459 runs, were
bowled out for 275 in their second innings after lunch to suffer
their 62nd defeat in 72 Tests.

Tennis tourney in memory of Bogollagama
Staying in line with the SLTA's objective in
developing outstation tennis in Sri Lanka, the Kurunegala Tennis
Club took the opportunity to conduct a ranking tournament from
December 9 to 14 which will be held yearly in memory of late Janaka
Bogollagama who was the past president of KTC and also, the Sri
Lanka Tennis Association.
