IGP for global Police symposium

Inspector Genaral of Police N K Ilangakoon left for Dubai yesterday along with Senior DIG (Southern Province) Lalith Jayasinghe to attend the Gulf Global Police Symposium as invitees.

The theme of the Symposium is “A Safer World through International Police Cooperation”.

Police media sources said that Community Policing, Cyber Crimes, Human Trafficking, Money Laundering and Law Enforcement Exchange will be the topics, to be discussed, at the Symposium.

Meanwhile, Senior DIG, Gamini Nawarathna will function as acting IGP until Ilangakoon arrives in Sri Lanka on December 08.
