Red Bull champion pilot to thrill the crowds today

Sri Lankans will once again have the opportunity to witness the Red Bull stunts once again, this time on the sky above the picturesque Unawatuna Beach in Galle this evening. Champion pilot Peter Besenyei will perform magic in the sky as the Red bull Air Show will create history with his acrobatic flying display from 2 pm onwards.

Peter, a master in stunt flying, holds the honour of winning the European World Championship and World Championship twice each. The Red Bull Air Show was conceived in 2001 in the Red Bull sports think-tank which has been responsible for creating a range of new sports events across the world. The aim was to develop a new aviation race that would challenge the ability of the world's best pilots, creating a race in the sky that was not simply about speed, but also precision and skill.
