Sir Alex celebrates 25 years at United

A Golden memory of 25 years, with still the same glory and splendor. The years have gone by, but United's majesty still lives on, as Sir Alex reached his milestone of 25 years at Old Trafford.

On writing about his success at Manchester United, Sir Alex has been the best leader of the Red Army ever. His tenure has seen the club go through an era of success and dominance both in England and in Europe, giving Ferguson a reputation as one of the most admired and respected managers in the history of the game. His leadership has brought the Reds forward a long way, with Sir Alex alone grabbing 12 League Titles for the side. These titles have made them the most popular football club in the world, amounting to over 20 million fans on Facebook alone! The club has achieved their happy years at United with plenty of practice and their positive attitude towards any game they play.

Sir Alex

Sir Alex has played for various clubs in his long football life. His first ever side was Queens Park Rangers, which he joined when he was just sixteen years of age! He was then signed up by St. Johnstone, but agreed to a transfer to Dunfermline. The pure Scottish player was then eyed by Scotland club Rangers, and he was purchased for a record-breaking sum of £65,000! Though Nottinghamshire wished to buy the lad for their side, Sir Alex's wife was not interested in moving to England so soon, so he joined Falkirk instead. He ended his playing career at Ayr United, but returned to the football field as a Manager.

He has been the Manager of many prestigious clubs, but felt that United seemed to be 'Home', and stated that his spirit will never leave the side. He first led East Sterlingshire, and then joined St.Mirren. However, Sir Alex had his best Manager times at Aberdeen, but always put them one step behind United, for he has enjoyed a large part of his life with the Reds.

Sir Alex received a warm surprise when the North Stand in Old Trafford was renamed after him in his honour. It was truly an emotional occasion as the crowds expressed their gratitude towards him, and the players brought forward their concealed feelings about the 'Best Manager ever'. Sir Alex has also brought forward his very surprising yet touching thought and wish-he wants to spend five more happy years with Manchester United, and this caused extreme happiness in the hearts of all United fans, including those not living in the UK. Being a Scottish footballer, Sir Alex entered England and has coached some of the world's best in the sport-players like Gary Neville, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs...and the list goes on! Sir Alex has been like father to these gifted players, and brought them into the limelight by buying them for United.

His sharp, yet friendly attitude, his smiling face, his cheery personality...all lead to United's victories, having such a caring and supportive Manager by their side. He has been a Godsend to the Red Army as he provides them with the support they need, and wherever they need it, whether it be the English Premier League, or the UEFA Champions League. It has been decided by Sir Alex, he WILL remain at United for the next five years. That's right, FIVE more splendid years at Old Trafford, and after that he will be a normal viewer by the sides, and as a football mentor to United. Whichever way, his Red Spirit will remain in player and fans' hearts alike, now and forever...
