SLC election on January 3

The Ministry of Sports began accepting nominations for the Sri Lanka Cricket elections from yesterday and will close on December 19, 2011.

The Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage has appointed the Director General of Sports M D Ranjani Jayakody as the Competent Authority to conduct the election.

The Sports Development Department will conduct the election on January 3, 2012.
