Minister Douglas meets Industry Chambers

The Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development Minister Douglas Devananda met the key personalities of the private sector, industrialists and policy advisors at the Ministry for finer points of the pre budget meeting so that the most important aspects can be highlighted to the Finance and Planning Ministry that is finalizing the budget at this moment.

Those present include the National Chamber of Commerce, the National Chamber of Exporters, the Small Medium Industries Industrial Association and the Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the Institute of Policy Studies and the Manufacturers Association and selected academia and representatives of the Institute of Policy Studies the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Jaffna together with Deputy Minister Weerakumara Dissanayake, Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development Secretary Ministry V. Sivagnanasothy and the Senior Advisor Jegarajasingham were present at the discussion.
