Forty six families resettled in Kilaly

Forty six families were resettled in the 95 Kilaly Grama Seva Division in Kilinochchi after explosives and land mines were cleared by the Army's engineering troops, attached to the Jaffna Security Forces Headquarters in Kilaly.

The families are the original owners of the resettled lands. They had been forcibly driven away by the LTTE. Handing over of land took place at Nuge Junction.
