HNB open tomorrow
Selected HNB Customer Centres will be open on October 26, 2011. (Deepavali
Festival Day).
This special holiday banking arrangement is to mainly serve personal
banking customers to make deposits to current and savings accounts, make
withdrawals, receive “Moneygram” and other inward remittances and also
to obtain information. Pawning services will also be available at
selected Customer Centres.

ComBank launches 365-day banking in Kurunegala
Commercial Bank of Ceylon has launched a 365-day banking service in
Kurunegala for the convenience of residents and visitors to this
commercial hub.
The Bank’s main branch located at Suratissa Mawatha, Kurunegala now
offers extended banking hours to customers from 9.00 am to 3. 00 pm on
weekdays and from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm on weekends and statutory holidays,
the Bank said.
A spokesperson for the Bank said that this service would also benefit
the growing number of recipients of Commercials Bank’s ‘e-Exchange’ and
Money Gram instant money transfers in the Kurunegala area. |
