Two foreigners were arrested yesterday at the Katunayake International Airport with gold biscuits and foreign currency worth Rs 100 million.

The authorities said the foreigners who were Koreans, were not in the transit area when they were arrested and that they had arrived in Sri Lanka early morning yesterday.

The Customs Department initiated the investigation yesterday to find out from where the suspects brought the gold biscuits and foreign currency.
