'The Film South Asia Retrospective'

Young Asia Television (YA TV) in partnership with Film South Asia Secretariat, Nepal and the India-Sri Lanka Foundation, Colombo is organizing "The Film South Asia Retrospective" at 5.30 p.m on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Indian Cultural Centre, at 16/2 Gregory's Road (opposite to Australian High Commission) Colombo 07.

Minister of Mass Media and Information Dr Keheliya Rambukwella will be the Chief Guest. High Commissioner of India Ashok K. Kantha will be the Guest of Honour.

"The Film South Asia Retrospective" will entertain film-lovers of Colombo through a festival of non-fiction films from South Asia. It will showcase some of the best South Asian documentaries screened during the past Festivals of Film South Asia, Nepal. The festival will take place at the Punchi Theatre, Borella, from October 20-22, and will be open to the Public free of charge with a line up of exciting films, giving audiences an opportunity to sample a wide range of topics and themes, presentation styles and techniques.
