Maldives national soccer team for Germany

The Maldives men's national soccer team which will get the much needed foreign exposure when they will undertake a one week tour of Germany from November 3 to 10, 2011.

The Maldivians will play three matches in Hanover, Colle and Strutgart during their seven-day tour. The team will comprise 15 players and five officials. Internal transport, accommodation and food will be provided by the leading German club teams who will be playing against the Maldivians.

The tour is being organised by the Maldivian Football Federation in collaboration with the Asian-German Sports Exchange programme.

The German Club teams will make a reciprocal tour of Maldives in February, 2012 during which they will play three matches against the Maldives national team.
