Swimming pool for Isipathana

Isipathana College Old Boys’ Association is undertaking the construction of a Swimming Pool for the school. The proposed Swimming Pool will be of 25 metres in length having eight lanes.

Presently the College has a student population of 4,500 and the objective of constructing the swimming pool is for the benefit of the students. This will also benefit students of all neighbouring schools, clubs and those residing in the vicinity of the school in Havelock Town.

The present Principal A C Perera, who is also the President of the Isipathana College Old Boys’ Association, is supported by the College Staff and the parents to make the pool project a reality.

Fund raising Project ‘Walk to Swim 2011’ Organized by the Isipathana College Old Boys’ Association will he held on October 30 (Sunday) 2011 commencing at 9.30 am, to generate funds for the project.
