Nations Trust at Batticaloa exhibition

The Batticaloa International Trade Exhibition (BITE) 2011, is an exhibition designed to bring Batticaloa and its suburbs under the spotlight. With the end of the hostilities, regions such as Batticaloa which were unreachable have now become prime areas for development and recognition.

Infrastructure and other facilities are being rapidly developed. The BITE is one of the first steps in opening its doors for investment and growth.

The exhibition which begins on October 7 will span three days. It will feature over 300 stalls showcasing a wide range of products, services and industries.

The BITE is expected to draw in crowds of at least 100,000. It will create awareness and provide exposure to the economic efficiency and industrial capacity available in the area.

In the banking category, Nations Trust Bank (NTB) will assert its presence through lucrative and attractive offers.

"Batticaloa is a city and region with a significant potential. It is a city, which was active in trade and was essentially a busy commercial hub.

We at Nations Trust Bank want to do the best to provide convenient financial solutions for the people and businesses of Batticaloa.

Hence we have structured a series of special offers to promote of our products and services," Nations Trust Bank CEO Saliya Rajakaruna said.

The NTB stall, the Nations Express Centre will feature some of its key products such as savings and investments, pawning, loans and leasing. It will also feature the membership of the American Express Card.

In terms of credit, home loans as well as personal loans will be on offer for salaried individuals and professionals such as Engineers, Doctors, Architects, and Chartered Accountants etc.

These loans will be available at preferential interest rates. Personal Loans up to a maximum limit of Rs 3.5 million could be obtained with extended repayment periods. Home loans will be offered at a competitive rate of 11.5% per annum.

In the retail-banking field, customers visiting the Nations Express Centre can avail themselves of two special offers.

Firstly in the event of opening an account, obtaining a lease, a personal or home loan, the customer will be eligible to one-month free of interest on pawning transactions. Secondly all customers opening savings or current accounts will walk away with special gifts.

As part of the overall offer, Nations Leasing has tied with AMW, Mitsubishi, DIMO, Browns and Toyota for special offers to customers, which will include discounts or gifts and very attractive lease rentals as well.

Nations Leasing will facilitate same day approvals enabling customers to truly convert dreams into reality.

Additionally special offers and surprises await those customers who obtain American Express Cards.
