Skookse and Nexy to become the next brand ambassadors

You would have never thought that puppets can be brand ambassadors since they are only to present shows. But the reality is that they can be brand ambassadors even.

Nexus Network Private Limited which is a member company of John Keells Holdings has already recruited two puppets called Mr.Skookse and Ms Nexy to get their involvements in the areas of branding and public relations (PR).

The company is into these kinds of novel ways to satisfy their customer base. Promoting their newly employed brand ambassadors Nexus, Sri Lanka’s premier loyalty cards with over 80,000 members today introduces Ms Nexy as a typical young girl who loves to hang out with her friends catching up and pampering herself in a spa after a very hectic day. Her specializing in Public Relations and the love to work at a company can make a difference.

She loves to read and listen to music, Beyonce and Rihanna are two of her favourite artistes. Shopping is another past time of her.

As Nexus convinced the media her job role is to ensure an excellent customer service which is provided at all time and that right processes are in place to empower everyone to do so.

At a media conference which was held to announce their coming into industry Nexy said “I will go to the ends of the earth to ensure Nexus members get the best service possible.”

On the other hand she is a nature and green activist and she is leading the Nexus team on all Green issues and will actively work with the Nexus team to keep the city and our homes litter free.

Skookse , Nexy’s partner in PR activities is crazy over Rugby.

These days he reports to work with red swollen eyes due to his burning of the mid night oil watching the Rugby World Cup.

The total responsibility for all merchant relations is to liaise with merchants to get the best offers for Nexus cardholders. He believes that playing piano is the best way for him to make a dent in the mental stress. He is going to launch his first song ‘Future Holding Eyes’.

“It is a song on keeping the city clean, litter free and simply caring for everything that’s around you,” said Skookse at the press brief.

Anyway, it will be no wonder for people that puppets will be chief executive officers of the companies in time to come when we think depending on the task to be done by Nexy and Skookse.
