Two SIs among five remanded

Five suspects including two Sub Inspectors from Matugama Police were remanded till October 06 by the Matugama Magistrate’s Court. The suspects allegedly abducted a wealthy couple from Dapiligoda, Matugama, claiming Rs one million ransom.

Three suspects were arrested by the Matugama Police. The other two suspects surrendered to court.
