Sri Lankan spikers to tour Germany

A Sri Lanka men's volleyball team will tour Germany for two weeks in 2012.

The team comprising 12 spikers will play five matches during their tour in Berlin, Hanover, Munich, Meran and Dresden.

The tour was agreed upon discussion between National Volleyball coach Kumara Vanderkoon and the Asian German Sports Exchange Programme to give the Lankan spikers the much needed foreign exposure which would stand them in good stead in international competitions.
