The BMW inaugural Golf Tournament, was for the first time held last
Saturday at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
It did reveal maturity in organizing and conducting a competition of
this magnitude and nature – the trimming and trappings kept the pavilion
alive while the music kept everyone move. For pleasure and leisure much
food and drink was provided for the large crowd that was present.
The tournament was meant for BMW owners, and also open to others in
accord with their handicaps.
A feature of the awards ceremony apart from the presentation of
prizes, was the display of the range BMW Cars, inclusive of the sports
cars BMW Z4 and the BMW E40I convertible. The chairman/MD of MBW
(Prestige Automobile (Pvt) Hans Reuter, and the captain RCGC, Sanjiv
Vairvanthan addressed the gathering present
