Okazaki -‘A’ division winner

The monthly medal round golf for August, sponsored by DMS Garment Technologies (Pvt) Ltd was held last Saturday at the Royal Colombo Golf Club. There were 220 participants, who in accordance with their respective handicaps competed in the appropriate divisions.

The winners of the relevant divisions A, B and C were Kazoo Okazaki, Nilkamal Perera and Sanka Mediripitiya.

The senors event was won by A.M. Jayawardena and the masters event by Kumar Boralessa.

‘A’ Division:

Winner – Kazoo Okazaki 68 nett, Runner-up – Romesh Abhayaratne 71/BB9.

‘B’ Division

Winner – Nilkamal Perera 67 nett, Runner-up – Kamalesh Johnpillai 68.

‘C’ Division

Winner – Sanka Mediripitiya 73 nett, Runner-up – Ravi Gooneratne 74BB.

[Seniors]

Winner – A.M. Jayawardene 71, nett, Runner-up – Dr. L.P. Jayaweera 75.

[Masters]

Winner – Kumar Boralessa 70 nett, Runner-up – Sarath Wickremaratne 71.
