Explosives recovered in Kilinochchi

Kilinochchi police detected a large haul of explosives buried in a village in the Kilinochchi police division, on a tip off received on Saturday. The explosives have been concealed by LTTE in Kuravil village, Viswamadu. Among the explosives, a large quantity of TNT and C4 were detected.

Police seek public help to identify them

The Police found a person fallen near the Kuliyapitiya-Madampe main road on June 3, 2011 with several injuries on his body. Police admitted the injured person to Kuliyapitiya Hospital and later transferred him to Colombo National hospital where he died.
