CEAT launches 'Rhino Plus' tyres

A new radial tyre specially designed to provide higher mileage and deliver greater comfort to van users has been manufactured at CEAT Sri Lanka's hi-tech radial plant.

Branded CEAT 'Rhino Plus', the new range replaces CEAT's 'Rhino' tyres, and the 'Plus' denotes new benefits and features, the company said.

An enhanced design, improved compounds and an eye-catching tread pattern contribute to safety and passenger comfort.

The greater tread depth of the new design delivers better mileage adding the advantage of lower cost per kilometer, a spokesperson for CEAT Sri Lanka said. The new tyre is available in five key van sizes. Sales of CEAT radial tyres increased by 55 percent in the last financial year making CEAT the highest-selling single radial tyre brand in Sri Lanka, the spokesperson said.

The radial tyre plant of CEAT Sri Lanka now manufactures hi-tech radial tyres in 15 popular car and van sizes, offering a range that will fit most small and mid size cars and vans.

CEAT Sri Lanka's radial tyres are backed by a one of a kind comprehensive no-questions-asked warranty that is valid for up to 50 percent of tyre wear.
