WCIC Members' Day

The Members Day of the Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC) will be held on July 26 at Garnet Room, Hotel Ceylon Continental Colombo.

The guest speaker for the event is Global Sustainability Solutions (GLOSS) Chairman and Centre for Environment and Development Executive Director Uchita de Zoysa who will speak on "Climate sustainability in an emerging green economy" a topic very much in the Chamber agenda with their ongoing projects.

Uchita de Zoysa is an internationally acclaimed thinker, writer and speaker who is a frontline leader in mobilizing the civil society for stakeholder alliances and a strategist for shaping policy for the global sustainability movement. He commenced his professional life as an investigative environmental journalist, and then moved on to creating a large civil society alliance in Sri Lanka.
