Let’s solve our own problems, says minister

The entire country must come together as one nation to solve problems without involving the international community, said Senior Minister for Good Governance and Infrastructure Ratnasiri Wickramanayake.

He was addressing a meeting held on July 10 at the SLFP office, Horana to distribute new SLFP membership cards to all SLFP branch committee members in the Horana electorate.

The minister added, this is not a problem of any political party, or other section. It is our duty to come together and settle problems.

“If we don’t reach a permanent solution, the international forces will operate against the country.

“This has become a main problem for the progress of our country”, he said. If there is a problem we must discuss it in a democratic manner,” he said.
