LG plans to target 17% market share

Industry insiders revealed that LG’s Business Solutions has reduced the complexity of various business processes by fulfilling diverse needs of consumers as well as partners. The company’s latest business model is structured to provide resellers and distributors a new opportunity.

With the unveiling of new technology products like Video Wall, 3D FHD cinema projects and Procentric TV, LG is aiming a total turnover of Rs 800 crore in the business solutions group by end of 2011. It is also reported that the company plans to acquire 25% of the market in business solutions category by 2015.

The electronics major has bragged about a robust business network and is mulling over regional distributors and system integrators to push its products in the market.

The three core areas where company is planning to gain business momentum are: Government, education and security.

LG will adopt both the direct selling and channel partner means to market these products.
