A fine knock of 51 by A J Dissanayake spearheaded St Sylvestors College to a fine six wicket win over their traditional rivals Vidyartha College in their schools under 17 Division one cricket match played at Pallekelle on Monday.

When Vidyartha College batted they were up against some fine spin bowling by Dushan Malalasena 3 for 18 and W J H Perera 3 for 25 which saw them being bundled out for 132.

The sylvestrian hit off the required runs for victory in 35 overs, starting their season on a winning note while their opponents on a losing note.
