Maldivian TT team tours Germany

The Maldivian table tennis team comprising three men and three women had a successful tour of Germany recently during which they played eight matches. They were pitted against leading club teams in Hessan, NorthRhine, Westfalen, Niedersachen and gained invaluable experience playing against their German counterparts. They spent two days in each town where in addition to the matches sightseeing tours were arranged for the team.

Eight teams from NorthRhine Westfalen will make reciprocal tours of Maldives and Sri Lanka in 2012. The Sri Lanka national team will tour Germany in April 2012, followed by the Air Force in May 2012 and veterans team in June 2012.
