Domestic Industrial Technology Exhibition from today

The Divi Neguma Domestic Industrial Technology Exhibition will be held under the one million domestic economic units programme in the Colombo district today and tomorrow from 10 am to 7 pm at the Homagama Central College.

It has been organized by the Colombo Divisional Secretariat office.

The objective of this exhibition is to create awareness among people who are interested in developing domestic industries. Skills development programmes, technical support, instructions on domestic industry and other features are planned to develop Colombo district domestic industries.

Institutions such as the Industrial Development Board, Palm Development Board, National Crafts Council, Small Industry Vidatha Resource Center and Laksala are participating at the event.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa.

Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena, Water Supply and Drainage Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Labour Minister Gamini Lokuge, Petroleum Minister Susil Premajayantha and Senior Minister A H M Fowzi will also take part.
