Books for State Literary Awards could be viewed

The list of books which have been selected for the State Literary Awards -2011 can be examined at the Cultural Affairs Department-Battaramulla, Sri Lanka Arts Council, Baththaramulla, Art Gallery, Colombo 7 and all District Secretariats from June 13 to July 13.

Books printed and registered at the National Archives Department from January 1 to December 31, 2010 are included in the list.

Novels, short stories, poems, songs, youth literature, dramas, science fictions, children's literature, translated novels, translated short stories, translated dramas are considered for awards.

Books which were printed during the period, but were not registered at the National Archives Department can be presented to the Cultural Affairs Department before July 20. Contact - 0112-872030 for details.
