JICA Alumni Association AGM

The 39th Annual General Meeting and members' get-together of the JICA Alumni Association of Sri Lanka will be held on June 25, 2011 commencing 5.00 pm at the Auditorium of the Sasakawa Memorial Cultural Centre, Colombo 3. Japanese Ambassador Kunio Takahashi will be the Chief Guest whilst JICA Sri Lanka Office Chief Representative Akira Shimura will be the Guest of Honour. Chitral Jayawardene will preside.

A special general meeting of the Sri Lanka Deshapremi Peramuna will be held on June 26 at 4 pm at Jayasekerarama Maha Viharaya, Kuppiyawatta.

Re-organization of the Deshapremi Peramuna will take place at this meeting.

Deshabandu K Karunadasa JP will preside.

Ven Talalle Mahinda and Ven Rajawatte Vappa Nayaka Theras will address the meeting.

A special bodhi pooja will be followed to invoke blessings to the President, the Armed Forces and the people.
