Malani to be honoured at Kandy Film Festival

Renowned actress Malani Fonseka will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the first annual Kandy International Film Festival gala dinner on June 24. The first-ever international film festival will be held in Kandy from June 22 to 26.

Over 15 of the newest independent films from around the world will make their Sri Lankan premiere during the festival days.

Global film directors and others will also be present at the gala dinner.

Sri Lankan and American musicians performing include Bevis Manathunge, Simon Beins, and Ethan Higbee.

Kandy International Film festival gala dinner attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Sri Lankan directors, actresses, musicians, and film directors from around the world.
