Aluth Sahal Mangalyaya celebrated

An Aluth Sahal Mangalyaya was held at Tissamaharama Raja Maha Viharaya recently sponsored by the Tissamaharama branch of Bank of Ceylon. This is an annual event in which Ven. Dr. Devalegama Dhammasena Thera Viharadipathi Tissamaharama Raja Maha Viharaya conducts religious observances and rituals.

Several farmer organisations joined the celebration by bringing in a Perahera their first harvest of rice for the Aluth Sahal Mangalyaya.
