Toddler drowns

A two and a half-year-old toddler drowned in a stream near its home in Malwana, Walgama on Friday.

This was revealed at the inquest on the death of M M Puwain by inquirer into Sudden Deaths, Malwana, A R A Mavahib. The deceased’s mother M F Sittisiyana, 28, and several others gave evidence. A verdict of accidental death due to drowning was returned.
